Ever want to hear a more female take on Homer's classic Odyssey? Hear Cathie Kernaghan share the voice of Athena as she guides the hapless hero, Odysseus, home from ten scary years fighting off monsters, temptations and the idiotic behaviour of his crew to finally arrive home at Ithica. Will wife Penelope and son Telemachus even recognize him? Or will they kill him, thinking he's the enemy? When will they ever learn? Killing isn't everything. Don't miss September 26th telling at ShelfLife, also with Cassy Welburn and Sheri-D Wilson, spoken word artist.
For the eighth year in a row, those who are ready to tell truly spine tingling and spooky stories are invited to submit proposals for the annual Spine Tingling Tales event at Edmonton’s oldest and largest cemetery. Standing on the steps of the mausoleum and telling scary stories is a storytelling experience you won’t soon forget! As usual, we are part of the Edmonton Historic Festival. The historic festival theme this year is food for those who like to be "on theme."
